Acousticlad worked closely with  several contractors to build a new office for the popular machinery company, Hitachi in Exeter. The project included fitting out an empty space into an adaptable productive workspace. Our works included partitions and suspended ceilings. 

 

Suspended ceilings are a common feature in modern office environments because they provide both functional and aesthetic benefits. A suspended ceiling is installed below the structural ceiling, creating a concealed space for building services such as electrical wiring, ventilation, and plumbing.

 

The use of suspended ceilings can improve the functionality, comfort, appearance, and maintainability of an office. It provided a flexible solution that allowed building services to be concealed while remaining accessible for future maintenance or changes to the office layout.

 

Throughout the project, we also installed partitions, which are an important element of modern office design, providing a practical way of dividing a large workspace into separate areas. The end result created private offices, meeting rooms, collaborative spaces, reception areas, and staff facilities without requiring permanent structural walls.

Acousticlad had the pleasure of working closely with a firm in Yeovil to fit out their new office, while also providing various installations, such as partitions and general decorating of the existing space.

The project is a great example of our ability to transform an empty space into a fully functional, high-quality facility that delivers real value for its users and brings our clients’ vision to life.

Acousticlad were contracted to work alongside a main contractor to deliver the fit-out of a new office space located near Pynes Hill. The project involved transforming the space into a functional and professional environment, including the installation of partitions to create separate office areas and provide a practical layout tailored to the needs of the end users.

 

The end result looked refreshed and modern, all equipped with a kitchen space, around 3-4 separate offices/meeting rooms and one main office space.

 

Timescale- Around 8-10 weeks.

Acousticlad were contracted to deliver the suspended ceiling installation as part of the refurbishment and fit-out of the BYD Southwest garage in Exeter. Working alongside the main contractor and other trades on site, our team were responsible for providing a high-quality ceiling solution that complemented the wider development at BYD Southwest.

 

The project involved the installation of a new suspended ceiling system throughout the designated areas of the garage. The works included setting out the ceiling grid, installing the suspension framework and fitting ceiling tiles to create a clean, modern and professional finish.

 

Particular attention was given to the coordination of the ceiling system with existing and new mechanical and electrical services. This included accommodating lighting, ventilation and other building services to ensure the finished ceiling provided both a practical and visually consistent solution.

 

Careful planning and attention to detail allowed the works to be completed to a high standard while maintaining a safe and organised working environment.
